The AHL DESIGN & ENGINEERING team is proud to announce the completion and official handover of the International Hospital Centre of Calavi, in Benin.

This major project, covering more than 40,000 m², has mobilised all our expertise and commitment to deliver a lasting positive impact for local and regional populations.

Technical resources deployed :

- 4 MW of refrigeration capacity

- 52 AHUs and 114 extraction fans

- 9 ISO 5 and ISO 7 certified operating theatres

- 33 external VRV units

- 900 terminal units (direct expansion or chilled water)

- 12 km of steel piping (DN 15 to DN 400)

- 120 tonnes of ducts supplied

- 1 on-site workshop for manufacturing rectangular ducts

- More than 2,000 m² of 2H fire-resistant gains

Standards of excellence respected :

All the operating theatres, which comply with ISO 7 and ISO 5 standards, have been validated and qualified in accordance with international standards (ISO 14-664 and FDS 90-351).

These highly technical areas will guarantee optimal conditions for medical operations.

This new challenge, born of a long collaboration with Bouygues Bâtiment International (BBI), has been successfully met.
